Terrace Announcements
Important 2015-2016 Dates
Meet-the-Teacher Night is August 24:  This will be on Monday, August 24 from 4:30 p.m to 6:30 p.m.  This is an open house for grades PreK-5 where you and your child can drop in at your convenience to meet his/her classroom teacher.  During this time you can also drop off school supplies and communicate your transportation plans for before and after school.  Meet-the-Teacher Night is the only scheduled time for you and your child to stop and meet with your teacher prior to the start of the school year.

Kindergarten Back-to-School Night has been replaced with individual parent/teacher meetings during the month of August.  Parents will be notified of specific dates for those meetings.

First Day of School for Students:
The first day of school is scheduled for Wednesday, August 26.

Terrace Back to School Night 1st - 5th Grades September 3:
New this year, we will have three (3) sessions applicable to first through fifth grade; 5:00, 5:30, and 6:00 PM.  All grades will present information at each of the sessions allowing parents an opportunity to attend multiple grade level presentations.  As a reminder, this a a parent only event.

Reminder: District Using New Payment System

As you begin to pay fees for the 2015-2016 school year, we would like to remind you that Ankeny Community School District’s new online payment system called PayForIt is available to add money to meal accounts, or pay other school fees.

Access the PayForIt system here, which includes tutorials and frequently asked questions on using the system and setting up an account; or access the PayForIt website at www.payforit.net.

New Payment System Lunch Account FAQ Now Available
We have received numerous questions about the district's new payment system regarding lunch accounts.  In order to assist you with our new system, we are providing more information in the form of a "frequently asked questions" page.
